Aus Angst um das Schöne

(Out of Fear for the Beautiful)

Along with the refugee crisis in 2015, the attacks had drastically increased on refugee shelters. Two years after the attacks, Henriette Kriese traveled across whole Germany and visited exemplary crime scenes. The resulting photographs do not function as typical shots of crime scenes, but rather as an exploration of the question of what happened to these places after the attacks and which traces can still be found two years later. In addition to photographs, short texts have been created that describe the happenings and her experiences on site.
